Serpa Downtown Gaia

Mario's place was very clean, comfortable, spacious, cosy and warm. It was located away from the very busy tourist areas - and it was great to come back to the comfort of the apartment after a day's sightseeing. It was very handy to have the metro, little cafés, restaurants and supermarkets like Pingo Doce and Lidl nearby. The Port Wine Cellars, informative Tourist Office and some lovely restaurants along the Vila Nova de Gaia side of the river are about a 10/15 minutes walk from the apartment. Near the apartment there is also a cable car which brings you down to the Vila Nova de Gaia riverbank. Porto (and Ribeira District) and Porto's centre are a walk across the bridge from the Vila Nova de Gaia side of the river. Great views of the River Douro and both Vila Nova de Gaia and Porto from the bridge. Mario was extremely helpful, considerate and thoughtful. We would definitely return to his apartment. Communication with the host was outstanding - clear, responsive, and helpful throughout. What truly sets this Airbnb apart is how well-equipped it is. Everything you usually don't find in many Airbnbs in Europe was provided: towels, excellent-quality bed sheets, soap, toilet paper, paper towels, salt and pepper, shampoo, dishwashing soap, and more. Wonderful place in Gaia, super well located in walking distance to world or wine and the Porto train station. The host is fantastic and provide the best instructions for the apartment and parking and gave us some wonderful recommendations. Incredibly responsive and friendly. I loved the apartment as it is very tastefully decorated and functional.

Die Wohnung liegt im Gaia Viertel und ist ruhig gelegen. Wir waren mit dem Mietauto unterwegs und es war möglich kostenlos zu parken. Die Wohnung ist geräumig und bietet einen guten Komfort. Mario war für Fragen immer zu erreichen.

Je suis ravi d'avoir réservé ce logement, qui en plus d être très agréable est situé très proche du métro donc très facile de se déplacer dans le reste de la ville. Tout est à proximité pour faire les courses et il y a plein de restaurants aussi. La communication était très facile, de plus nous avons pu laisser nos bagages un peu plus tard bien que nous ayons quitté le lieux. Un immense merci pour tout

Appartement bien situé (les transports en commun et magasins pour faire les courses sont à côté). Pour ceux qui souhaitent tout faire à pied, il faut compter un bon kilomètre pour aller dans le centre de Porto. L'appartement est mal insonorisé (on entend les voisins parler) et situé dans une rue bruyante. L'appartement est bien équipé.
